Newly employed, newly single

Wow, what a week... I am happy to announce that starting June 20th, I will officially be an Admissions Counselor for the University of Washington in Seattle!! It was a stressful process (three interviews!), but I am so excited, it's going to be a great year. And with this plan solidified, returning to France in 2012 is well within my grasp!!

In other news, I am now single... It's the best thing and all will turn out well. I have a lot of good things going on in my life and so much to look forward to. The whole thing added lots of stress to my week, but I am happy and healthy and appreciative of my friends' support.

Luckily, the weather has been improving a bit over the past couple of weeks (Spring, finally!), and I was able to take pictures of the cherry trees in full bloom in the Quad a week or so ago. My sister came up to visit me last weekend and we drove up to La Conner to check out the tulip festival. It was beautiful! She and I had a great time posing and being silly in the fields. Enjoy some of the photos. :)

"Baby, remember on the bus and my hand was on your knee?
When you love somebody, it's hard to think about anything but to breathe.
Baby, I am the cup who was washed out in the flood.
When you love somebody, bite your tongue, all you get is a mouth full of blood."
